As a youth, Danny Mills went to Norwich City games at Carrow Road, standing on milk crates just to get a view of the pitch. Little more than a decade later he was representing his boyhood club as an 18-year-old in the First Division (now known as the Championship).
Over the next 13 seasons, Mills would amass 375 appearances for club and country and became a fixture at right-back in the famous Leeds teams of the early 2000’s. This led to an England call-up, culminating in him playing every single minute in England’s 2002 World Cup quarterfinal run. His career was cut short by recurring knee injuries. Now, Mills is a successful investor.
