Well, that is a valid argument, of course.
However, having to look at the issue from all the angles, I had to necessarily mention Pep’s UAE snub because it added to the story. Many writing on this issue choose to ignore the undoubted fact that Pep Guardiola is not a citizen of the UAE nor is his employer the UAE. Pep Guardiola is employed by a buisness entity (ADUG) the major shareholderof which is a member of the ruling family of Abu Dhabi, not the UAE. So why castigate him for not taking up human rights issues in a political entity (UAE) that is not his homeland nor his employer?
